youngest s2k owner
FunkyLemons..thanks for posting the most boring, peice of shit biography. I mean who the F cares about your dumbass life? God. Anyways, I'm not pissed at the kids for getting hot cars so young...shit you know anyone would take a car if its handed to them! I'm pissed at the parents for being so dumb for giving their kids the car...then the stupid little kid goes out and plays with his little friends and gets into accidents cause they cant handle rwd 240HP - type cars. For the most part, as you get older and have more driving experience you become a better driver..makes sense don't it? But thats my opinion and even though its annoying to me, its not affecting my life any more then having me post some responses on this forum. By the way, I'm 22 so I don't know why you keep referring to me as "old".

Actually, you cant look at just the numbers because there are surely more 21-25 year olds driving S2000s than high school kids. They only way to get the correct figures would be to take the percentage of wreck per high school kids with S's compared to the percentage of wrecks with 21-25 year olds. Just a thought though, why is it that insurance companies lower your rates when you turn 21 instead of raising them since you are obviously losing expeirence coming for the "flawless, perfect, not even capable of being wrong, know everything 18 year old." Who knows, I just know I wish I was 18 again so I could know everything in the world and be a better driver to boot {end of sarcasm}
I can totally respect people younger than me (Im 21) on two principles. One, they bought it themselves or two, their parents bought it for them but they dont go around bragging about how they are 12 and own an S2000. If something is given to you and you act like you earned, you earn zero respect from me. Just say your parents bought it for you. I know if my parents had offered me an S2000 when I was youner, I sure as hell wouldnt decline. But my parents believe that hard work is crucial to becoming a responsible adult, thus I have had a job since I was 16. Yeah, they helped with my with my first car, a 94 Honda Civic EX as well as paying for my college. Bah, I am rambling now. You get my point.

b00stn and the other kid that made the comment about accident rates..you guys have no clue what your talking about...you have no documentation on it and just make up random crap about polls and about this board and about just s2000's..just shut the F up and listen....Department of Motor Vehicles prints out an annual report stating both number of drivers in each age range as well as accidents per age range. To make a long story short, the numbers they show represent PERCENTAGES. That means that even though there are less drivers 16-18 then 18-25, there are more accidents per driver for 16-18 age catagory...do...you...understand? and if one other little snot-nosed high school kid posts some shit about how much they work at McDonalds or whatever I'm gonna have to pull some smack out on him
I think the age thing will always be an issue that divides this community (so long as we let it). You guys and gals are old and mature enough to know that life doesn't hand everyone even hands, right?
PS: I work 10hr shifts at McDonald's and pull night shifts at Jack in the Box. Come by anytime. I enjoy seeing overzealous people make asses of themselves.
