ive done about 135 in the s and about 162 in my rx-7 previous to the s. both stock.

But i was on a I-55 with no cars on the road other than that all my high speeds are done on the track in my formula. S will make it there once it is track worthy

Driving that fast is driving the law and should not be discussed. Please keep your speed just slightly above speed limit. We want everybody to stick around.

100 in my 240 and it felt like all the parts of the car would rip right off one by one until i was just left driving a frame (like in cartoons)...

plus the car was at like 4500 rpm (which doesnt sound high for s2k but for 240 it is) and the road was so bumpy and curvy it was too dangerous. braking was scary too

I don't see how that's possible. Fuel cut is 8600? Or did you raise it? I thought AP-2 was like 8200..
Both my06&7 were the same and both completely stock.

187 indicated on an 02 gsxr 1000

Straight line haters
I guess it's either corners or straights, I can't have both? Isn't that what the S is about, straight line speed

^haha. I dont think straight line speed is what domestics go for anyways, its 'fastest to 120' or if they have a really powerful car, quickest to 150 (1/4mile)

Top speed is more the territory of exotics/supercars.

For those who know the 15N fwy from california to nevada/las vegas - 147-149 mph on the last stretch to state line. For those who don't know, it's like a 10 mile straight stretch from the top of a mountain downhill straight into a valley of casinos. Scariest thing I've ever done. Never broke a hundred mph since that day, lol. Not worth being one of the many who die on that fwy over speeding.

hit 140 in a 98 prelude automatic... then cracked a cylinder head

scariest thing ive ever done in my life..

I was 16 and stupid, Got the S about 2 years later, its only seen over triple digits a few times, fastest was probably about 110, and it was bc i was putting distance on someone like someone earlier had said..

i wont go over 120 ever again in my life i bet, that blowing the engine at 140 was a good lesson to me
