To be honest, I think most convertibles are pretty gay. Either that or most convertibles are cars like sebrings and are driven by old people or tourists (rental cars)...

My S is my only car, and I don't want to look "windblown"/redfaced/sweaty during the day because I have to attend business meetings constantly for my job...

Don't hate on people who have their tops up... When the time is right, I drop the top.... Plain and simple...
You bought the wrong car.

You all know the saying...

If the top is up, the storm outside better have a name.

Top down. Top always down.

I'm in the top always down group. I actually bought the car for performance, and didn't really care too much about it being a vert (I never really thought I would own a soft top). But now I love top down driving.

When I got the car, my wife was like, oh fun a convertable! Now she hates it, it's too hot, too cold, too windy, too loud. So we compromise and sometimes go top up (sometimes!). I feel so ashamed driving by other verts, especially S's, with my top up on a nice day.

I wouldn't say he bought the wrong car (though calling most covertables "pretty gay" is a bit odd), there is a huge group of people that keep their hardtop on full time. I can imagine that but the S is unique enough without the top down. One of the great things about the S is that it is appealing in so many ways: unique engine, handling, looks, rare, top down, pure sports car, reliability, etc.

Top is down except for rainy days. They made sunscreen to keep people from burning. I also found that at certain speeds rain will not enter the cabin...just don't slow down.

I hate getting tan. But I aways try to drive top down as much as possible.

So if there is ALOT of sun or decent rain, top up

I also drive top up on the freeway when I go to work. But when I get off the ramp, it's top down xD (Thanks to the sensor mod hehe)
