Arguably the best made camera mount for our car, the Ztech mount is now available on our web site. Details are here: http://www.ricks2k.com/products/ztec1.php

The mount installs in the stock windscreen mounting holes with special hardware provided with the mount. Here's a photo of this high-quality accessory with a camera mounted on it:

Err, I think you mean now, rather than 'not' and there's a '.' too many on the link.

Rick,

Can you easily switch from the windscreen & camera mount?

How does the windscreen come off? I looked and do you have to drill it out?

Thanks...kcdc

The differance is the tripod head used. The quick release head has a metal plate that mounts to the cam, and then lock into the tripod head. The standard head screws directly into the cam. So if you want to remove the cam, you have to unscrew it. They are both pictured below.

The OEM windscreen is secured by two screws. They are located on the back side of the windscreen, under a plasic cover. The cover just pop off and reveals the head of the screws.

How do you "pop off" the covers? I've tried to do it with out damaging them or the surronding platisc, and there TIGHT/ didn't budge...

Thanks kcdc

I can do mine by hand, with my fingernails. There is a slot facing the rear of the car, using a very small screwdriver you should be able to gently pry them up. they are not that tight, just hard to get a hold of.
