I just showed it to a mechanic and he said it was the "mainshaft" or something like that...

 

i hope he's talking about the prop shaft. and i doubt it's your prop shaft. take it to a honda dealership that is reliable. the s2k is a different beast, and unless the mechanic has S2k experience, you're in for a rough ride.
