Default '00 won't start

Hi everyone,

My '00 won't start. The engine check light doesn't come on, so I checked the PGM-FI main relay for voltage on pin5 and pin7. Hi have battery voltage on pin 5 when the key is on, but there is nothing on pin 7. So I checked the 15A fuse and it was blown.

I replaced it but blows almost immediatly when I turn the key. The fuse stays OK whit the relay unplugged.

Could the relay be the cause? Or should I look further? (ECU?)

Thanks!

Guy

switch the relay with another identical one thats in the fuse panel see if it fires up

the ecu is fine the fuse protected it thats what its there for.

check for continuity and a short with a multi-meter real quick

Is it cranking?
Usually when check engine light doesn't come on it means an ecu issue.

I just bought a replacement ECU on e-bay.

The ECU comes with the key etc... can I just plug it in or will it need programming?
