Default Starting issue

Hey guys recently I have been having this problem starting my car. When I start my car, I get in and I push the clutch in and try to start the car and it doesnt crank or anything, but after I let go of the clutch and push it back in then press the engine start button the car starts just fine. Im not sure what the issue is but I want to fix it before it gets any worse. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

-Thanks

try turning the key to the ACC position (All the way) and let it sit for 5 or so seconds before pressing the button.
