02 sensor bad

Hey guys i just put in my test pipe with an 02 sensor adapter, installed it and everything was fine until a couple miles the check engine light came on, any ideas

Pulling the MIL code first would be a good start

I did my friend works at oriellys and said it was the back catalyst, should i replace the o2 sensor
