for those with 06+. i need input on how smooth your tranny is. i recently purchased an 06 with 50,000 miles on it and noticed the tranny seems alittle rough thru the gears even after the car has warmed up especially 3rd gear. I've even took it to the dealer today and have then changed the tranny fluid. It really feels that the synchro is worn or going out? i can feel a slight impact while puttin it in 3rd but no grinds.. around 3k+ rpm shifts its more noticeable.. is this normal? i also have 100,000 mile extended warranty

 

that's quite a bit of miles for an 06', but i know that some ap1s have grinding 2nd gears, perhaps 3rd gear is a problem for ap2s It doesn't hurt to get a full dignostic on your tranny, i suppose..

 

lol yea, thats why i chose to extend the warranty.. i driven both my brothers 00 and 01 ap1 and didn't notice it on theirs.. i'm aware that some ap1's had tranny issues but haven't heard much with the 06+ .. just need some input from owners with ap2's and how smooth is the tranny suppose to be? and if anyone had any issues related to their tranny
