I'm not going to get into this debate because I feel that anything above 93 octane is a waste with a NA car with a stock ECU, but that price is pretty cheap for 100 octane. The only station by me that carries 100 octane unleaded charges 5.99 per gallon!

well been driving it all day today, and to tell you the truth, it is SoOOo Much smoother than on 91. THe engine is also a lot quieter under 5K RPMS...i can also feel the difference when taking it up to RedLine...this stuff's amazing. I'll post gas mileage and more comments as they come...

That was my experience too. Mileage? Shit my '2k barely gets over 21 mpg. To say I was shocked is an understatement (though I don't really care that much).

any type of octane incrase you will notice differences. Some people say you won't but on any car it will change. I have been using 104 sunoco at the track and ever time i pour that blue gas in the tank it makes the car feel stronger.

i would mix 100 with 91 bump it up around 93 or 95 octane and you will notice a change over 91 alone.

also these race fuels have different blend, Sunoco 104 that i use the GT blend is ideal for turbo cars. It's formulated to burn differently for high compression engines. again i had an Audi with 6g's in engine/turbo mods so sonoco was my friend!

I've been told that our ecus will pull timing but won't add. Which would mean that higher octane gas is useless.
You obviously have been told correctly but assumed wrong.

The ECU will be pulling timing with 91 octane. We tested my car when stock on Church's dyno and gained 16 rwhp with the ECU reset and 100 octane.

The hotter the weather the better the high octane helps out.

The Carwash at Gothard and Beach Blvd has VP 100. The 76 station on San Miguel in Newport Beach has 100 octane. Where is the Sunoco station in Costa Mesa?

Only 21mpg? I got 27.6 on my last tank, but that was mostly highway.

I guess you guys in Cali have to make a choice between 91 and 100 which sucks. I used to be able to get 94 @ Sunoco, but they seem to have stopped. Now i just run 93 all the time.
