THanks CRAZY, yea its been stupid hot out here so I'm glad I put it in my car...but I might just try that mixing maybe 60/40 to save a lil more...keep it above 91. Thanks for your advice though very thorough I might add...

just a note. i've been running a 50/50 vp 110 octane leaded / 91 unleaded mixture for about about 3 months now. runs smoother than before, with added throttle response and vissible power (no dyno results to prove). i reset the ecu when i started and have had no troubles since.

squirrels.. leaded will fk up your o2 sensors. you're not having problems now, but if you keep using leaded 110 blend you will.

yeah it will screw up your O2 and Cat! if you run a test pipe it's ok but the 02 is cheaper than a cat if you ever need to do a smog check.

ok well... the old place that sold Sonoco GT 104 is no longer opperational i went to their last known location last night.

The place was called Track Side and they moved to Huntington Beach. When i went to the location the building was up for lease...

I have a buddy who races Audi's still we both used to buy sonoco 104 from this place i will ask him were to get the race fuel in So Cal and report back.

any of you ran an "octane booster" and 91-93 octane fuel to see the same or close effect as your 95-100 octane blends etc?

I will try a booster for a shit and a giggle, especially since its so hot out here lately.

Be aware that the label on octane boosters describes raising the octane by points. This is slick marketing for 1/10s of an octane. Diluting a high octane fuel is a much better way to raise the octane.

The Carwash at Gothard and Beach Blvd has VP 100. The 76 station on San Miguel in Newport Beach has 100 octane. Where is the Sunoco station in Costa Mesa?
What are the prices out there for those two stations?

the 100 octane in pasadena is apparently around ~$6.39
