100 octane does make a difference
Last fall I made a mistake and filled up with 87 octane gas about 10 gallons. I expected to notice a difference in performance in regular street driving but didn't notice any difference. After a couple of days I took it out and ran it out thru 1, 2, and 3 and it still felt strong.
I expected it to be like a 100 degree August day where my car performs like one sick puppy.
I wonder if you put 87 octane in a pump marked 100 octane, what percent of the people would definitely. absolutely, feel the difference.
