I average about 27-28 with city/hard/highway driving all mixed in. Normally get about 300 miles to the tank. I have a 07 btw.
wow, I'm about 80% highway and getting about 24mpg. I do vtec a bit, but don't find that it makes a big difference if I push it occasionally vs. driving calm 100% of the time.

highway == ~75mph in 6th gear.

On the track I get about 14mpg

I fill about 10 gallons each fill up and get from 240 - 260 miles. Ergo 24-26 mpg. No where near 30 though. Someone's on crack.

In my experience, new cars usually don't get good gas mileage for a few thousand miles

i usually cruise about 70-80... at 80 in sixth im at about 4.5k rpm. I'm the one who began this thread. It has brand new oil, but it might be the tires, im gonna check that. Air filter maybe? With these stats i don't think i have gear work, right?

I get around 24-26 MPG with about 70% highway. I don't get how some of you are averaging over 30...even all highway I get about 29, and yes, I always maintain my sparkplugs, injectors, tire PSI, etc. that plays a factor in gas mileage.
