Default 2 CEL's and low fuel

My car has been sitting for 6 months and I just dropped a motor in it and connected everything and fired it up. The car fired up properly but I'm getting 2 CELs. I checked it with an OBD II scanner and it is reading the primary and secondary O2 sensors. Is it true it could be from very low fuel? First of all the car wouldn't originally start b/c it had now fuel what so ever. I filled it up with about 1.5 gallons of gas just to fire it up.....now it probably has less.

The 1st thing to check is weather or not the 02's are plugged in. The next step is to get a specific DTC before any further troubleshooting. Low fuel level in the tank isn't going to throw DTC's for 2 bad 02's.

By the way the Codes are from an AUTO ZONE scan tool.

It doesn't matter what scan tool that pulled them, the DTC # is the most important detail. They will be something like P0135, P0141, Etc.
