I take it you mean an open chamber head design? If so, the answer is kind of :-). There are small quench pads on either side of the chamber, so I guess technically it is a closed chamber design.
On the cam sprockets, there are several issues. I can't get into them too much as a friend of mine has been developing a pair to try out. It can be done, but the S2K cam sprockets are quite different than anything Honda has done before. We're looking at space issues and gear noise. The former appears to be solvable, the latter we may have to live with (might sound cool). I don't know if they'll even work though as the S2K has cam angle sensors on each cam and adjusting timing might confuse the ECU. Only testing will tell, but we're not going to allow more than 5 degrees adjustment in either direction.
