I have an 02 with 3100 miles and have not lost a drop of oil. First oil change is coming this spring. If your wondering why still the factory oil, I bought the car brand new in March 03 with 44 miles and only drive it occasionally. It is sitting for the winter.

1200 miles and not a drop. (Lots of VTEC action after the 600 mile mark)

I have 5500 miles now and just finished my second oil change. I drove it aggressively when I got it at 47 miles. I havent notice any Oil consumption at all.

Just for your information:

I purchased the Honda OEM 10W-30 Motor oil for the first oil change. I noticed that it was manufactured by Mobil. So I just bought the regular Mobil Drive Clean Motor Oil 10W-30 on the second oil change. The regular mobil oil had a stronger petroleum odor than the Honda Oil manufactured by Mobil. It may just be the batch of Oil. Both motor oils exceeded the factory specs, I forget but I believe it was SF. I am still debating whether using synthetic or regular. I am leaning towards regular mobil oil so I can change it more often (approx 2000 - 2500 miles) on non track driving. After 1500 - 2000 miles or so, the oil is already black.
