2005 AP2 radiator leak - Replacement recommendations?
Keep an eye on coolant level, and always have some on hand to top off. Silicone hoses porous enough to allow coolant to evaporate through them. So you'll get occasional coolant smell in cabin, and need to top off time to time.
Silicone meant for race cars, getting attention before every session, so easy to keep topped up, no one cares about odor. Withstand heat better, like from a turbo. These hoses have no place on a street car.

If its just the oil cooler hoses, those are so small, short, less surface area for evap to occur. Probably not an issue if keeping eye on.
The larger radiator coolant hoses, large diameter, long, lotta surface area. People experience coolant smell in cabin, regular topping off, etc.
