I have had my S for about a month now. Just recently I noticed that in the morining while pulling out of the garage and going down the street well after shifting in to 2nd I hear a noise, it's not quite a clunk or a grind but I can't figure out where it's coming from. I do not feel any odd in the pedal or anything of the sorts. This only happens when the transmission is cold it seems like, even on a warm day during it's initial warm up I will get the same thing. Any ideas? I have only come to the conclusion its transmission noise becuase of the fact it only happens after the shift.

 

does it happen when you release the clutch while in 2nd gear or when you've been accelerating for a few seconds?

Any ideas? The sound is almost similar to when the A/C engages, but I know the A/C is off. And it always happens when the trans is cold or have at least let it sit for awhile.
