Default Whine Noise (AP1)

Everyone please help, noticed last nite when i was driving home and started hearing whine noise making from passenger rear wheel . The problem was that loud noise when am in Neutral and car is rolling, but if you're in gear then its dissapear, so i got home and just leave it alone. This morning after i drove for like 10 mins and about to my work place, i was in neutral and loud noise appear again, and this time even worse, even when am in gear and left out the gas pedal and making that noise . I don't know what the problem was, it is differential or axles? Maybe some of your guy have been experienced before , please help me out, i would appreciate so much. Thanks guy and have a great day.

you been launching your car recently? shifting hard? Does it make the same noise when you are stopped, when in gear with clutch out, when in neautral, clutch out?

It only happens when your moving? clutch in, not in gear? In gear? Clutch out, in gear, out gear? Specific speed that hte noise is made?

^^ No i haven't launching or shifting hard at all, when i stopped there's no sound. It's just happened when am moving at lower speed 5-20mph when clutch is out while in neutral. This morning i was doing around 15mph in 2nd gear and left out gas pedal while making left turn and started doing it too.

most likely either your differential or wheel bearings.

Your better off changing the diff fluid again, so you can see if you have any large metal pieces. Process of elimination. Good luck.

Had you been hearing a clicking noise coming from the rear for some time before (couple months or a few weeks)? If so, it is your wheel bearings. You will need to replace and replace the hub.
