4.57 gear and Comptech diff setup?

A honda dealer is the last place I would go to have a gearset installed. I guarantee you they will F it up.

The installation requires a lot of precision and measurement...it is NOT just a bolt on.

The pumpkin swap is probably the best idea as the hard work is being done by the people who have the most experience with the work. While you are getting an "old" housing, the wear will be within spec and the shims will make it so that wear is a non-issue as they compensate for minute differences in measurement.

Thanks for all the info guy's. I'm not worried about the "diff housing"; the used part that I am worried about is the LSD. The LSD is an actual moving part that will ware, so that is the part that concerns me, as my S2000 will be brand new.

Also, while were on the subject, do you guy
