8000K bulb replacement
I saw a pair of brand new 8000K bulbs for sale for a good price and I was going to purchase them, but first I wanted to inquire as to how hard it is to switch the bulbs on the low beams. I apologize if this is a repost: a search provided no results. Has anyone done this to their car?? Any help?!
Thanks in advance!

You run the risk of wearing out your ballasts substantially quicker by running a bulb in that range. Stock is only 4200k so 8000k is quite a risk.
6000k might be a better choice if you're trying to make it look more blue/purple. But I don't see the point, the stock HID's look great...
