Default ABS Light is on..

Okay, recently had an accident on the driver side front and my suspension was damage. The car is fixed but the ABS light is still on. I could take it back to them to fix but I don't have time to on weekdays and weekend when I'm off, they are closed. So is there any way I can turn the ABS lights off? The brake works fine, please help. Thanks

If your ABS light is on, then you probably don't have ABS working. yeah you can brake, but if you slam on the brakes, your wheels will lock up.

It's most likely a bad speed sensor on that front wheel or a bad connection. if it doesn't go off when you turn off the car and then turn it back on, then it's not going to go off. to my knowledge the dealership has to hook into the car and clear the code, which would kill the light. however, since you haven't fixed the problem it's just going to keep coming back on.

either you live with the fact that you don't have anti-lock brakes, or you go back and get it fixed. I think a new speed sensor costs around $100.

Okay well I'm definitely taking back to the shop. I am not paying for it to begin with. So I'm taking it back first thing tomorrow.
