Default acessory socket not working?

So for some reason my accessory socket isnt working, Ive tried 2 different sockets and get no voltage to them, but if I put my voltmeter into the contact and the other to a ground I get 12.45 volts, I checked the fuse and it's good, what else could it be?

If you check between the center contact and ground and you get 12+ volts then your fuse and positive side wiring is good. Note that the outlet is mounted into plastic and that would mean that there is both a hot wire and a ground wire to the socket. My bet is that you do not have 12 volts from the center contact to the socket body because the negative or ground side wire is disconnected at some point.

Weird, was playing around with the connection and socket, I was getting voltage on the wiring but when I put the socket on there was no voltage, after about 5 mins I tried it again and I got hot and ground with the socket on and now it's working fine...
