CC unit: Pedal was soft which was nice. Bite was great. Decel buzz was unbearable.

Of the approx. 20 ACT PP/oem disc combos I've put in, not one had a decel buzz and driveability is great.

I have to agree with Bill. I have a competition Clutch stage 2 with the ulra Lightweight flywheel. The Buzz is worse than stock. I have it when I acel and decel. Stock I only had it on decel. I have to say from a performance standpoint other than the noise the clutch is top notch. Its very Light on the foot infact my stock clutch was very heavy (MY01 BTW) . Their Flywheel on the otherhand does not make my car rev any faster but it does give it a bit more throttle response and the car feels like it has more power downlow but you can not tell the difference after V-Tecl. Taking off or going in reverse is a nightmare too with the flywheel because it is so light. I burn the clutch almost ever time. Definately an Eye opener. Billman did warn me about CC but I had already ordered it. Like I said if it was not for the noise it would be a great buy. Hope that helps

I have to say too though that Kane from Automotivespeed did tell me the clutch could buzz that it was really a hit or miss thing. He also helped me out alot and answered any question I had. He has great service.

I got the CC Strip Series 1680 and the CC light flywheel. I don't really care about the buzz as long as it performs well. My car isn't a daily driver anymore so when I do drive it I will definitly enjoy it with or with out clutch buzz! Thanks for the info!

Well like I said the clutch is great the only downfall is the buzz. I hope everything works out for you though. If you car has a buzz now it will probably be worse when you install the CC. If it does not have a buz you might not get one. Recently I got to drive a fellow members car who has the same setup as me and not buzz on his 02 he never had it and even with the CC install he doesnt have it.

ACT engagement is the same as stock, as the friction is the same. Just a stronger clamp, and stiffer pedal. Totally street friendly.
