Hello all,

since i have put my CAI, my car make a "ooouuuu" noise when im in neutral. Its not that loud but i can hear it and it anoying me a little. Is this sound normal?

 

I think it is normal...I get the same hum. It's a bit annoying for sure, as your louder than any other car parked around you.

 

Absolutely normal sound. Tube resonance. Don't worry about it. You'll smile above 6K.......

Put on a Spugen single and you wont even here it.

 

I was worried about this when I first installed mine, but prior to the install I had taken the cover off of the stock airbox and started the car. The sound is identical. I'd say no worries. However, I do get a bit of hesitation with the AEM; if I goose the throttle (from under the hood) at idle and let go it's noticeable. Anybody experience this?

 

Haven't noticed this, everything seems very smooth in fact initial acceleration under certain weather conditions, is smoother IMO.

The resonance sound is normal. Someone asked me if I had a supercharger!
