Default Aem V2

I just got the V2 intake installed today and am having problems with hesitation and learching in midrange and after coasting. The shop tried a new MAP sensor but it didn't help. The car has only been driven about 20 miles. Will the computer learn the new air flow or would have already done it? Anyone had this experience with this or any CAI?

Are you using the new MAP sensor attachment? There was a problem with hesitation under heavy acceleration because the MAP sensor would move around. The new MAP sensor's have like a zip-tie that holds that sucker in place. There is a TSB about it. This may be your problem. Resetting your ECU may help too. If it is none of these you may want to check the integrity of the filter and make sure everything is installed right. Personally, I think you should wait more that 20 miles to ensure the computer is not at fault.

I did get a new sensor from HardtopGuy that was installed after and the shop said it ran so rich just flowed smoke so they put the old one back in and that stopped. I guess it could be the actual sensor probe in the intake?

The sensor should be the same as the old. It's just the mounting bracket that you need to hold it in place. See the zip-tie in the pic below?
