Default AEM V2 Install help

Hi all,

Almost finished with the v2 install, took me a good 5 hours so far, and just need to put the wheel back on and figure out the hosing.

I basically cant figure out where the upper and lower hosing needs to go. I looked at the instructions and it gets a little vague. I've posted pics, please help me out - I need the car for work tomorrow :/

Thanks!

the upper goes the the "and this one?"

and the lower goes to "what do i do with this"

it's on page 4 of your install directions

the picture showing exactly where it goes is on the bottom right. see where his hand it? with the white thing. that is where the upper goes to and the lower go to the part with the other small hose you disconnected

Alright, so I did like you mentioned azndrunkyoon. Its dark outside now, I'll take a look at the instructions again to see if it mentions anything about the old hosing.

BTW, the upper and lower are little bit loose when i plugged them in, should I grab some rings from the autostore?

Im such a newb at this, but you gotta start somewhere.. right?

ok, the upper hooks up with the other hose with the white cap. this leaves one hose doing nothing though. the hose down to the right, coming from some black box behind the radiator. Any ideas?

btw, one of the hoses is still kinda lose, I think its the lower vacuum hose that a little lose. I might have to buy a little clamp for them.

Trace all your hoses and check valve direction using this:

It's really all you need to know.

Cool! Thanks man. Looks like I got it now. Took it to work this morning and loved the new VTEC experience. Fingers crossed that I don't have any problems with it and the rain now.

clamps aren't required. if they were aem would have put them in.
i just put some spit on the outer side and slid on the hoses because spits give alittle grip
