Aftermarket clutch hard on drivetrain?
your diff will break...trust me!!! I have gone through 7 diffs!!! Each time i put in a new clutch in the s2000 i break another diff within a month or 2 months. Clutches made for turboed s2000's are not diff friendly. I would say either put an organic disc on or the factory clutch if you want your diff to last. just my .02 cents!!!
This is why I love the hardtopguy clutch kit. The ACT pressure plate is awesome and a great improvement over stock (IMHO and many others on s2ki), but it keeps the factory clutch to save any more uneccesary stress on the drive train. Jeff has said this combination is good for even mild to moderately boosted cars. Unless you are making BIG power (which the OP might have been), there is probably not a need for the overly aggressive clutch kits.

I'd recommend switching back to OEM. I had a 6 puck Setup on my AP1. This Bit down extremely well for track days, just a bit too much for Daily driving.
My propeller shaft linkage that attaches to the tranny suffered. The sudden jerk of the shift caused the grease to come out. For a 6 puck I was about to get 23k miles on it with several track days.
I've now switched to an ACT PP and OEM Disk, I've also upgraded the Flywheel to a Chromoly Fuji Racing. I'm extremely happy with this setup; OEM feel that's very ready for the Track.
Good luck.

Thanks a lot everyone for your help and input. I think I will be putting the stock clutch back in when it gets closer to spring... rarely driving the car as it is right now and I'll continue to be easy on the shifts until I can get the stock one back in.
