Default What Maintenance ?

Hey guys just it 65000 in my 04 just was wondering what kind of maintenance to do to the engine to keep it running good. Any input is greatly appreciated .

He's right, read your owners manual then read the FAQ. This question has been answered way too many times already. Also, try a search.

You guys are assuming that all of us have the owner manual..like if everyone bought the car from new...

The true answer to the question is "it depends".

Have you had a valve adjustment yet? If not, then you should probably get it done.

If you haven't replaced your plugs yet, you might want to get a new set.

If it's been a while since you've replaced your air filter, now would be a good time.

You should replace your tranny and diff fluids and cabin filter, but that has nothing to do with your engine.


But if you have done all the above and had regular oil & filter changes, you should be fine.

No, not at all. We are assuming that anyone who bought a car without an owner's manual would buy one. It's just plain common sense. Now, if someone just now bought a used car and didn't have one, that would be different.
