Default Air Pump Delete, Removal of actual sensor

I am deleting the airpump, minus that stupid hard line which was a giant PITA to wiggle out everything was straight forward. Now I am to the actual sensor and there is a hardline going into it. My question is do I cut these wires or is there some other way to remove it?

Step 5 shows all that can be removed if you want to.

Thanks but I don't think you read what I was asking. I removed/know where everything is. The giant sensor is hard wired though, what do I do with that?

If by giant sensor you mean the current sensor in the fender, it has a wiring harness that unclips; the picture in the instructions show everything that can be removed and all the pigtails, full length of lines, etc. The sensor can be removed by unclipping the fender liner, the fender itself does not need to be removed, removing the front tire will make it easier. There is a bolt or two in there holing the sensor to the chassis iirc. If the end of the sensor pigtail is concerning, you could electrical tape the end closed.

I removed the sensor bolts but am still wondering about the hard wires. So are you saying to just cut them? Where is the plug?

*edit* I realized after looking at the image below for two seconds that you have to seperate the current sensor to remove it without clipping wires.

I tried that, but it doesn't really give access to remove those wires. I just cut them, I can't imagine that will cause any issues?

It should not as long as you make sure to isolate the wires with either some shrink wrap or electrical tape.
