Default Loud exhaust

I currently have Skunk2 catback system on my AP1 and it's very loud for a DD. I currently drive around while fixing their baffles which makes the sound far more better but also makes the exhaust tips look like a motorbike exhaust.

I need a permanent solution to this. Shall I consider welding in a silencer before the mufflers? (Will replace it with a test pipe on track days) or is there another solution?

Please don't suggest going back to OEM cuz I don't have it

Thanks

Tanabe Medalion Touring will bolt in in 30 minutes once the car is on jackstands. Very pleasing sound.

If you like the tone of your exhaust but it's just to loud, I would use this race muffler.

Get the 2 1/2" or 3". If you run a test pipe, just weld flanges on it to bolt in where the cat would go. All you have to do is make it the same lenght as a test pipe. This muffler has no packing to burn out so the tone or loudness will not change over time and it has not changed the tone of any car I've put them on. They just cut the drone and loudness of the exhaust.

I have used this muffler to lessen the drone and loudness on several cars and have had no problems with it. On one car(supercharged V8) they put a set on it to get rid of the awfoul drone it had, been about 60k miles on that car and it still sounds the same as it did when they put them on.

You could always have the Vibrant 3" Ultra Quiet resonator welded into the exhaust. It did wonders for me when I was getting a lot of drone from having header, high flow cat, and Invidia Q300 exhaust.

BUMP on this thread - what is everyone's opinion on this exhaust? I heard it has good gains, and from videos I've seen on youtube, seems to sound pretty good.... And, is it bearable if you have the silencer in it?
