I had someone look at my car to investigate a loud hissing noise louder than normal and is present only on cold starts. It then goes away once the car warms up. My tech mentioned it sounded like the air pump. If it was faulty the CEL light would go on but it doesnt. It just sound louder than normal. Has anyone experienced this before? Is this due for a replacement or just some tweaking involved?
