Unhappy Air Pump Melted. Options?

Long story short. Heard a louder than usual humming / whining sound. CEL came on, went to pepboys they found it throwing a P0411. Looked it up here on s2ki, found the air pump threads. I pulled MY bumper and found this:

I need help with my options:
-I have read about the delete kit which isn't going to be released anymore.

-Buy a new one $500 / used one $100-250 (with the possibility of the same problem down the road)

-I have read that if you get an AEM EMS its possible to bypass the system. Not cheap.

-Can a VFAC II bypass the air pump?

Running the car with the CEL on is not an option. Do you guys have any suggestions / advice? Thanks in advance.

Take it to Honda. There's a TSB for this

The Tsb is not a warranty extension.

I was under the impression that the Air Pump is covered under the emissions warranty. Perhaps I was mistaken.

Either way, there's a chance it will be good-willed. The OP has no reason to not contact Honda.

The best way would to just buy a used air pump from someone on here. I had to go through this also.

There is no real way around the air pump CEL unless you replace the pump, or get an EMS. A VAFC cannot do anything like that. I found my air pump on here I think less than $100 shipped for just the pump. Solved all the issues and got it done with for now.
