Air pump valve wiring
I bought a 2000 S2000 a few months back and it had the P0411 (air pump) code from the start. The previous owner deleted the entire air pump system but never bought the module to delete the CEL. So I figured it was an easy fix. I bought the module and installed it but I still get the code. I've search all the vacuum lines but can't find a leak. After about a month of looking under the hood from every angle possible and search on forums, I noticed that I didn't have an air pump valve that originally attached to the intake. I couldn't find the plug for it either. I'm thinking the previous owner chopped the plug and tossed the valve to save weight (he was turning into a track car). Could someone tell me where the wires for the valve lead to and what colors they are so I can trace them back and get a new connector and valve so I can get this stupid CEL to go away? Does anyone know if having that connection unplugged from the valve will cause a CEL even with the module? I'm looking for the wiring of the valve pictured (not my car). Any help would be much appreciated!
Pretty sure you don't need that valve with a correctly wired izze simulator, is that the one you are using?
You have tried clearing the CEL right?
If you want to find the wires they should ber a black/yellow and a red one coming out from the big loom where the upper rad hose sits against the shock tower.

Thanks. I looked for the black/yellow and red wires and found them plugged into the fans which explains why the fans wouldn't come on unless the a/c was on. I guess the previous owner thought if the plug fits then it must go there. But I've read on other threads that if the red wire touch ground then it'll fry the ecu and you'll get a permanent P0411 code. I'm pretty sure since the plug was plugged into the fans, the red wire was grounded since my P0411 code won't go away even with the simulator module. Damn.
