Happened to a previous car of mine, with an aftermarket alarm on it. just had to adjust the sensitivity on it.

Do you have an OEM alarm or an aftermarket one? Mine is a Hornet and the sensitivity knob is on the alarm control box.

Depends on where your proximity sensor is, many will place it under the center console. Just close it and it adds a layer of protection against windy days.
