Default Alignment question...

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to educate myself and learn more about my car. Today I looked at the alignment adjusting bolts on the car (the bolts with marks for caster and camber), and noticed that the settings on the driver side are not the same as the passenger side. The car doesn't seem to be pulling on one specific direction. I would have assumed that setting these bolts where the marks are in the exact same spot on both sides would result in perfect alignment. Given mine are not set in identical spots, should I get the car re-adjusted?

If every frame mount, suspension component, spring rate/height, tire diameter, wheel round, etc. Was PERFECT then you would be correct. BUT there not so you have to figure all of the flaws in and the fact that theres a driver in one seat and the differences in the left to right chassis balance.

alignment is actually quite fun when you know whats going on but for god sake dont start moving the bolts!
