I've been using Amsoil since I had my car and the car's engine still running strong even with 84,000 miles but I switched from synthetic 10-30 to 5-40 synthetic european though about 2 years ago 'cause that's what they recommend on their website then and now.

did you notice a change in oil consumption?

i am considering going from amsoil 10w30 to amsoil european 5w40 to decrease oil consumption...

i had no idea amsoil recommended the 5w40 synthetic euro. i've been using 10w30. interested in hearing how this has changed your oil consumption
