Default Andy's custom short intake install

Hey uhh I finished up with my special short intake install. Since stupid aem made this intake 2 pieces I my self removed the "unnecessary" downpipe of the intake and shaved some weight of my S . ( Real reason is it was crushed). During install though one of the vacuum hoses came out and I drove it like that engine light came up, I reset the ecu and now its not there. Anyway now I am going to test it tonite and if results are not satisfiying can I go on ebay and buy one of those cheap intake systems and just use their bottom pipe ( the whole kit is like $45 )?

Plan on sucking in some really warm air as the cool outside stuff passes through the AC coils and the radiator directly towards your filter.
