Default Another Camber/Toe Problem

Went to the alignment shop today, only looking for near OEM results for a daily driven S2K. Car is dropped 2" with 18" wheels. I expected more negative camber due to the tire height and here are the results:

LF:
Camber -1.4 (-.7 to -.3 specified range)
Caster 6.2 (5.8 to 6.3)
Toe -.46 (-.08 to .08)

RF:
Camber -.7 (same above)
Caster 5.7
Toe -.37

LR:
Camber -2 (-1.7 to -1.3)
Toe -.44 (.16 to .32)

RR:
Camber -2.3 (same as above)
Toe -.6

Rear thrust angle: .08 degree

Are you getting the same results? I'm really concern about the toe degree both on the front and rear. Did you buy the expensive bumpsteer or did you only need the camber kit from either Eibach or SPC, also if you pick up the camber kit, did you get the adjustable rear toe arm too? My last set of tires lasted less than 10K miles.

Thanks!

what eats alot of the tire is toe. camber accelerates wear but not as much as toe. bump steer kit allows your car to maintain a straighter toe than a car without under compression of the suspension. a camber kit is your only solution if you want to get rid of it. but i dont see much harm in having 1.5*F and 2*R

Are those the results AFTER an alignment? There is no reason why the Toe can't be adjusted to spec. If that's the best they can do, then raise back your car.

From other threads, -2 degrees of camber seems normal. If toe correction is really that much off, am I better off with adj. toe arms than? Or are you saying just go with camber kit to slightly correct both? Thanks!

It's normal that toe, camber, and caster change when you change any one of them; especially camber and toe in the rear. Has this tech aligned S2000's before?

BTW. -1.5 front and -2.0 rear is good for street. Need to get 0 toe in front, and 1/8-1/4" total in rear.

Yep, that was after. Tech said he can't adjust the toe unless it effects the caster or camber.
Yeah... so???

Take it to a different tech. I'm pretty sure that even with your drop you should be able to align the car to factory specs (assuming the tech knows what he's doing).

dont feel bad, ive got the same problem with my 17's...my front is 1.5 and rear is 2.5 but i think my toe is pretty bad that makes my car eat more tires...my car has 8k on them and front tires(inside shoulder) is almost bald because of my toe...im goin back to my buddy to get them checked...but for some reason, my rear tires is really good as far as wearing out. It shows a little camber wear but thats really normal on rwd cars. My front is my biggest problem now...

you should be able to adjust front toe independantly from any other adjustment. the rear may be a different story but im not sure about that.
