Ok, i am swapping a MY04 tranny into MY00 S2000! I got everything off, changed my clutch, and before i put in the MY04 tranny, i decided to go through the gears! 1-6 it goes into, but reverse wont work! When i put the shifter on and try to push down it doesnt go down and therefore i cant get into reverse! When i take the shifter out and put it on my old tranny, the MY00 tranny, 1-6 and reverse work fine! Anyone have any clue why it wont go into reverse? Is it because it has been sitting in my garage for a while with no oil in it? Do i need to put it in and drive it before revesre will work? Any help please!
