I never noticed the squeaking sound from the engine bay, only the "card hitting bike spokes" tct problem. After a drive to Glendale and back to help my friend pick up his car, i began hearing a faint squeak. The squeaking is pretty evident and it seems to be louder on the front/front-left of the engine. I recorded a audio file and will post it up when its done uploading to youtube. Anybody have this happen to them? I searched it up and found a lot of people with squeaks but only one that i thought was close.(quickly skimmed from phone)The thread said something about squeaks at idle like me but mine did not go away after warmed up, the responses were about a bearing and serpentine belt needing changing but i thought i should ask again to see if anyone else had more input.

Also i bounced off the rev limiter today in second gear, and my car sat for a week-2weeks due to the rain couple weeks back and i only began driving it for the past 10 days or so, if that mattered at all.

i think this is kinda normal, mine made this sounds once i first got it
and i did like every maintenance possible kinda (dont know what and how previous owners treat their cars)
all fuild changes and regrease suspension and joints and get valve adjustment
and it took this sound away kinda.. less noticeable. but i got a ap1 and its known to be more rough.. yours is sounding like a ap1

do you have warrenty still? or did it expire?

 

it expired a long time ago i bought the car used without warranty
on the other hand i started up the car earlier today and couldn't find the squeek, im just afraid it'll come back as soon as i drive it for long periods of time
