Default Anti Squeal Compound for Brakes

I just bought some CRC Disc Brake Quiet. It says Not for use with shimmed pads. I purchased some Carbotech Panther AX6 pads which I reckon may squeal. Are shims and anti squeal compounds incompatible or is it just this particular brand?

Thanks for your help.

AX6 will squeal no matter what you do to it, especially low speed braking. i would reuse the old shims.

Honda uses grease on the shim pack. Take a look at the old setup and you will see a VERY thin film. I used crc as well and it didn't help. The Ax6 is a decent pad, but noisy and super dusty.
