Any discussions of engine mounts?
I am curious about which parts of the S2000 engine mounts might wear out. In the Service Manual, I see an engine stop bracket that has a cushion, and I'm wondering whether that might be a wear item. Then it sure seems like the left side engine mount bracket is different from the right side engine mount bracket, but those probably don't wear or break. The engine mount itself (if that's the right term) has rubber that degrades, and I'm mostly wondering whether this is the same part for both the left side and right side.
i.e. Do I need to order two Front Mount parts, Honda 50810-S2A-003 ?
Part 2: Are there any other engine mount parts besides the Mount itself that might have worn out over 100,000 miles?

Only the rubber mounts are subject to failure. Since everything else is harder, and stronger, rubber acts as fuse, protecting everything else.
Mounts don't wear, they tear. Filled with a damping oil, a telltale sign of failure are brown stains running down mounts.
Its also possible to use a lever to tiot engine, see how far it moves.

The rubber in the engine mounts is what wears and tears over time.
The metal stoppers do not wear.
The rate of wear is heavily dependent on driving environment and habits.
If your factory engine mounts lasted 100K...then you can probably bet on a replacement genuine Honda mount lasting the same time.
Aftermarket, non fluid filled mounts should *theoretically* last longer.
But theories are like opinions. Everyone has one. But nobody wants to admit it.
Or however the saying goes.
