Any negative issue with leaving the coolant
I have a turboed car and since the install I removed the cable to the coolant control valve and left it in the open position. Is there any harm that can be done by this??
all thats doing is letting the coolant flow through the heater core inside your car. Unless you removed that as well?
When i have the top down and have the heat on but no fan speed, the negative pressure inside the cabin will suck air through the vents. If its on hot, lots of heat will come through, so unless you don't have an issue with that, i wouldnt see why you would have a problem...
If anything, it will be easier if you ever need to rebleed the system again

actually on all fairly new cars, after a certain speed air must flow into the cabin even if the fans are turned off. Thats why you'll be driving 70mph, windows and top up and still feel air coming out of the vents on all new cars.

i have found that it happens on a much larger scale when i have the top down than compared to it with the top up etc...
