Don't just rag on the DC header. There has been a many a posts of people with the Mugen, Toda, and other headers with similar gains or none. A header is good for potential gains and possibly some weight loss. I am going to wait and see what Rick's has come up with. Also the header that DC has is different than the SS header from before. I believe. Something else to consider is each car is going to respond differently. No two motors are alike.
