I am looking to do a custom job and put a S-2000 Differential in another Honda. I do however want a 2.53 or lower up to 2.38 rear differential gear ratio. Do you think the stock Honda Diff and bell housing can handle up to 400 RWHP? and do you know where I can get a custom differential ring and pinion for this set up?

Find something else. 400 RWHP is more than this will handle. Heck it has problems with the stock 240hp and clutch dumps.

 

RIng and pionion is a very hard thing to manufacture. You should see the machinery involved in hobbing the gears. No small custom shops can handle the capital investment needed to buy this equipment. Only a few big manufacturers for this reason.

Your best bet would be to find an entire center pumpkin from another vehicle that has that ratio as an option. Search for Inline Pro's R200 diff swap as a reference.
