I've just ordered the DiGrappa X-Brace and I have the Comptech SC. I've seen a picture of the X-Brace installed and it looks like it's a bit close to the engine oil drain. The Comptech SC has a box and oil lines running to the SC, all hooking in at the oil drain. Does this stuff clear?

gary,

The oil return from the SC does clear the SPOON X-Brace... However, you do need to finish all tightening of the oil-return hose hardware before reinstalling the X-Brace (during an oil change).

I cannot comment on the other brace design...

shaner,

So to do an oil change you have to remove your X-Brace?

I change mine without removing X-brace and have not had any problems.

Personally,

It makes it so much easier to access the return line's bolt fixture with a wrench without the x-brace there... Why make things harder when removing a few screws opens it all up... just my opinion.
