Does Ap1 head work with a Ap2 engine?

The F20C and F22C head are petty much the same beside the valvetrain components are different.

 

So if I port and polish a Ap1 head I can intall it in my Ap2 engine?!

 

The OEM part numbers are the same for the AP1 and AP2 head. It is the cams that are differant part numbers, as are the keepers and retainers. However many of those parts are updated parts and work back.

So to anwser your question, Yes it will work just fine.
