AP1 OEM Exhaust = AP2 OEM Exhaust?
Hey guys,
I've got an Ap1 and there's an Ap2 OEM Catback exhaust for sale on CL. I'm curious if this would be a direct replacement (with the exception of exhaust tips) for my AP1 OEM Catback.
In other words - Are the Ap1 and Ap2 OEM Catbacks interchangeable?

Me too. I have an early AP2 exhaust on my late model AP2, and an AP1 cat.
The CAT, the O2 sensor is in a slightly different location, but wire is long enough to reach.
The exhaust, the Hemholtz resonator has a different shape late AP2 vs AP1 or early AP2.
The rear most hangers on AP1 are slighly less beefy than AP2. The AP2 has a double bracket, AP1 single.
The length of the pipe exiting back of muffler is slighly different length AP1 vs AP2. So if you mix different version of exhaust vs tips, you might need to trim so length from tbe exhaust.
But it all bolts up and fits.
