I got the GTC-200 Spoiler and I was wondering how bad the fitment would be on the Mastergrade type 2 trunk. I know the MG2 has that built in lip spoiler thing and I was wondering if that would throw the fitment out of wack. I'm talking about the s2000 gtc-200 the one that mounts on the edge of the trunk.

And if it would cause a major fitment issue what could be done to fix it? Thanks

 

Hey bro,
As you can see in THIS thread, the MG2 is curved at the edges. I doubt the spoiler will fit out of the box as it seems the mounts have been designed w/ the stock trunk shape in mind.
On the other hand, anything can be modified to fit, but I dont think its worth to hack up the Mastergrade trunk for this. A OEM shape CF trunk and that spoiler will look amazing already.

Use the forum search. Maybe someone has already tried something similar to this.
